Shriners of North America will hold its 134th annual international convention – called the Imperial Council Session – in St Louis, Mo., from June29 -July 3, 2008. It will be the first time Anaheim serves as the location for the Shriners’ annual meeting.

During the Imperial Council Session, representatives from the 191 Shriners Temples – or chapters – will make decisions for Shriners of North America, as well as the organization’s philanthropy, Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Shriners of North America is the 411,000-member fraternity that founded and continues to operate 22 Shriners Hospitals for Children in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The hospitals provide specialized medical treatment at no charge to children with orthopaedic problems, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate.
