ALL EVENTS AT THE ALADDIN SHRINE ARE CANCELED

As a result of the orders of the Ohio Department of Health and Governor DeWine concerning the coronavirus (COVID-19) and for the safety of our nobility and their families, I have ordered the cancellation of all Aladdin Shrine–sponsored activities for the next six weeks.

As of today, March 16, 2020, that period will end April 27, 2020. This includes tonight’s (March 16) stated meeting and the April stated meeting of Aladdin Shrine. I am also ordering that all clubs and units suspend all meetings and gatherings during this time.

Nobles, 76 percent of our membership is over the age of 60, placing them in the high at-risk population. We have approximately one-third of our members between the ages of 70 and 79. We must do all that we can to protect our nobles, their families, and the public from this highly infectious disease. If you have business to conduct with our office, please do it via telephone or email. Do NOT come into our office. This will also help protect our employees.

A decision for extending this Aladdin Shrine no-activity period will be made during the first week of April 2020, based on information available at that time. Please look for emails from Aladdin Shrine, the Aladdin Shrine website and Facebook page with updates at that time.
