Shriners Shall Not... 

All members of Clubs, Units, and the Nobility

SHALL NOT plan any fund-raising events without the consent of the Potentate

SHALL NOT mention on invitations or notices the serving of beer or liquor, or a cocktail hour. Use  "Gathering Hour" or "Fellowship Hour" or something of this nature.

SHALL NOT submit beer or liquor ads for any of our publications.

SHALL NOT omit the words "Affiliated with Aladdin Temple" from your letterheads.

SHALL NOT permit any female or impersonator of females to participate in any parade; or the appearance of a Noble in any costume or dress that might bring reproach upon the Order.

SHALL NOT permit uniformed organizations of your club to appear on the street or in any public place without approval of the Potentate

SHALL NOT use the word "Noble", "Shriner" or any variation thereof, or any term, sign or symbol of the Order for commercial or other business enterprises.

SHALL NOT buy or use any mechanical vehicle without first obtaining permission from the potentate.

SHALL NOT permit gambling, raffles or bingo at any of our functions.
