To All Tabloid Chaimen, All Club Presidents, and Unit Directors:
May we be one of the first to wish you a Happy and Healthful New Year.
It is our pleasure to announce the 4rd Annual Tabloid Seminar for Aladdin Shriners. This seminar will be just for Tabloid - nothing else! It will be held on
February 14th at our
Center. We will start with coffee and doughnuts at 9am The seminar will open promptly at 9:30 and will close
promptly at 12:00 Noon. Lunch will be served.
Due to rising hospital costs, We need to solicit more funds for our Shriners Hospitals for Children. Medical inflation costs during this past year has
risen. More children than ever before are requiring the use of our hospitals.
Naturally, this means the we will have to supply more funds to get the job done.
Our goal this year is to have 100% participation by every Shriner!
To do this we need a Tabloid Chairman in every Club and Unit, no matter how big or how
small, we need the support of every Club and Unit, no matter how big or how small. We are asking that each President and / or Director look forward to this coming year and appoint a Tabloid Chairman for 2003 right now! If there is any doubt in your mind as to the value of
this seminar, let me say this; last year was our second seminar just for
Tabloid, 82% of our Units and Clubs participated in it - 7% more than ever before AND we raised $20,000 more than we had ever raised before for "OUR KIDS". We thank YOU!
WE NEED THE COOPERATION OF EVERY NOBLE IN THIS EFFORT.
If, for any reason you cannot be at our Seminar, or your Tabloid Chairman cannot be there, PLEASE, see to it that a
responsible party from your Unit or Club is there. This is a top priority meeting. Much information and material will be issued. Top flight speakers will be there. You
